Dear Friends

We would like to invite you to take part in Fan the Flame, a very special week at St Wilfrid’s Church.

It is five evenings of teaching, during which we can grow in faith and enrich our knowledge of God’s love for us.

The evenings will begin at 7.30pm with Songs of Praise. Following this there will be a time of teaching led by visiting priests who have agreed to spend the week with us.

The evenings may conclude with a time of stillness and prayer.

Tea and coffee will be served in the hall afterwards.

To begin the week, the Bishop of Horsham, Rt Revd Mark Sowerby, will commission the missioners on Sunday May 8 at our Sunday Parish Mass.

A special prayer card has been created for us to use in our preparations for the week.

Fan the Flame will be a time to encourage, nurture and strengthen our faith through worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship.
