I am married to Margaret, with three children Timothy, Sean and Ellen.
After training at Mirfield theological college, I was ordained a deacon in 1987 and a Priest in 1988 in the Chester Diocese.
- In 1992 I was made Rector of the Parishes of Tangmere and Oving near Chichester.
- In 2001 I was appointed Chaplain to Seaford College and Priest in charge of the Parish of Graffham with Woolavington.
- In March 2009 I was appointed as Priest in Charge of St Wilfrid’s Church, Chichester.
- I am ex-officio Governor at Bishop Luffa secondary School and Chaplain to year 7.
- I have also been appointed as community governor at Parklands CP school where I do a weekly assembly.
I am a member of the Catholic Priest task force which runs the Fan the Flames missions set up by Bishop Lindsay and run by Fr Ron Robinson. I have led missions with a fellow missioner to St George’s Hanworth, St Mary Ruislip, All Saints Notting Hill, St Mary and All Angels Brighton, All Saints, Roffey, St Matthew’s Ponders end and St Nicholas , Fleckney.I have to say I really enjoy the missions and it is a great privilege to give up a week of your time to help another Parish.
I also am a member of the Society of the Holy Cross, a community o
f priests across the world who have a common rule of life and support each other in fellowship and prayer under the sign of Christ’s Cross.
